Allen Hall

2002 Hall of Fame for Business at Sweetwater High in 1947

Chairman of the National Media Literacy Program and produced special programs in radio and television, including Bozo's Circus for 28 years.

2002 Hall of Fame for Athletics at Sweetwater High in 1982

12 years in the NFL, including defensive lineman with the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks.

Donnie Edwards

2002 Hall of Fame for Athletics at Chula Vista High in 1991

Donnie is an outstanding football player with the Kansas City Chiefs. He is a graduate of Chula Vista High. Linebacker for the San Diego Chargers #59.

Joanne Delos Santos Lorence

2002 Hall of Fame for Academia at Castle Park High in 1980

A nuclear mechanical and environmental engineer with the U.S. Department of Energy, Los Alamos Labs, New Mexico.

June D. Moeser

2002 Hall of Fame for Public Service at Sweetwater High in 1940

Moeser was the first policewoman in Chula Vista and Imperial Beach, the first female Marshal in the South Bay, and the first woman foreperson of the Grand Jury. She also was a co-founder of several organizations, including the First San Diego Courthouse, Inc. and South Bay Toastmistress Club, and served as President of the Chula Vista Women's Club.

Leonard Villarreal

2002 Hall of Fame for Community Service at Sweetwater High in 1969

Villareal is a well-known news personality, reporting for Channel 10 news in San Diego. He also serves his community by contributing his time and services to problems such as illiteracy.

Lilia I. Bartolomé, Ph.D.

2002 Hall of Fame for Academia at Sweetwater High in 1975

A nationally renowned scholar in multicultural and minority education and professor at the University of Nassachusetts, Boston.

Mario Lopez

2002 Hall of Fame for Arts at Chula Vista High in 1991

A star of the sitcom Saved by the Bell, Mario also starred in the movie The Greg Louganis Story. Currently he anchors the The Other Half, an NBC Daytime Talk Show for Women with other panelists. He started at Chula Vista High.

2002 Hall of Fame for Business at Montgomery High in 1980

Chief Executive Officer of the Community Health Group, working in this field since the age of 14.

2002 Hall of Fame for Public Service at Sw Adult in 1961

Retired Superior Court Judge; graduated from SDSU and Harvard Law School.

2002 Hall of Fame for Military Service at Hilltop High in 1992

Air Force Captain received the Soldier's Medal for Heroism for efforts at the Pentagon on 9/11.

National radio producer of the year 2001, 2000, producer of #1 San Diego radio morning show, Jeff & Jer for past 15 years.

Wayne Sevier

2002 Hall of Fame for Athletics at Sweetwater High in 1959

Wayne excelled in sports during high school, played the position of quarterback for Don Coryell at San Diego State University, and then worked in the NFL as assistant special team coach with the San Diego Chargers and quarterback coach with the Washington Redskins.
